Lemery Left With One 100,000 Chip

Level 26 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Daniel Marx
Daniel Marx

Justin Hotte-Mckinnon raised to 100,000 in early position and was called by Patrick White in middle position. Action folded to Daniel Marx in late position, who moved all in for 1,150,000.

Dylan Lemery was in the small blind and thought for a moment before announcing "all-in," as well, for 1,250,000.

Hotte-Mckinnon and White both folded and Marx called.

Daniel Marx: 9?9?
Dylan Lemery: A?A?

The 4?8?4? flop was no help to Marx, but the turn would bring the money card in the 9?. Marx would fade the K? river and double-up, leaving Lemery with one 100,000 chip remaining.

Dylan Lemery
Dylan Lemery

Action folded to Dylan Lemery in late position, who moved all in for 100,000. Wissam Gahshan made it 325,000 to go from the button and both blinds folded.

Gahshan would go heads-up with Lemery and receive a discount on the raise.

Dylan Lemery: A?5?
Wissam Gahshan: A?Q?

Lemery would need to spike a five or straight cards in order to stay alive, but the runout of 9?2?10?A?Q? was no help and Lemery exited the tournament.

Level 26 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Ronnie Day
Ronnie Day

Brent Gregory raised from early position to 125,000 and Ronnie Day called from the small blind.

The dealer burned and turned a flop of 3?7?4? and Day checked over to Gregory, who bet 125,000. Day called and saw a 5? on the turn.

After some thought, Day opted to lead out for 175,000 into Gregory, who ultimately decided to fold.

Day Doubles Through Marx

Level 27 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Ronnie Day
Ronnie Day

Daniel Marx raised to 160,000 from early position and Ronnie Day moved all-in for 1,150,000 after it folded around.

Marx went deep into the tank before ultimately deciding to make the call with the covering stack.

Ronnie Day: A?K?
Daniel Marx: K?Q?

Marx needed to catch one of the remaining three queens in the deck, or straight or flush cards, in order to achieve the come-from-behind victory.

However, the flop provided little help as the 10?K?2? board offered no flush and few straight opportunities, and the 10? turn and 9? sealed the deal for Day.

Gregory Pressures Hotte-Mckinnon, Hotte-Mckinnon Pressures Schultz

Level 27 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Action has slowed down considerably as the final eight players jockey for their position at the televised final table.

Justin Hotte-Mckinnon raised to 160,000 before Brent Gregory three-bet to 460,000. That was too much and Hotte-Mckinnon tossed it in the muck.

On the next hand, Hotte-Mckinnon raised to 160,000 again. Barry Schultz defended from the big blind and the flop was 6?5?A?. Schultz check-called a bet of 150,000 from Hotte-Mckinnon and the turn was K?. Schultz checked again and Hotte-Mckinnon kept going with a bet of 350,000. That was good enough to force a fold from Schultz to take the pot.

The plan for the evening is to play down to six players before they bag and come back tomorrow for the PokerGO live stream.

Marx Finds the Double Against Gregory

Level 27 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Daniel Marx
Daniel Marx

Daniel Marx moved all-in from early position for 645,000 and was called by Brent Gregory in the small blind.

Daniel Marx: 5?5?
Brent Gregory: A?Q?

Marx went in with a slight lead in equity, but the A?4?4? flop would turn the tables and give Gregory a commanding lead.

The 9? on the turn was no help to Marx, but the river was the 5?, giving Marx the much-needed double-up with fives full of fours.

Day and White

Level 27 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Ronnie Day raised to 160,000 from the cutoff and Patrick White came along from the small blind before Brent Gregory called from the big blind.

The flop was 3?9?K? and both of the blinds checked before Day bet 125,000. Gregory called and the turn was 4?.

Both players checked the turn and 5? fell on the river. White fired 275,000 and Day called while he turned up A?9? for a pair of nines. White showed the losing 8?8? and tossed them in the muck.
