Andrew Brown opened on the button and was called by Aaron Mermelstein in the big blind.

Mermelstein took three on the initial draw to Brown's two before check-calling an all in from Brown.

Both players took one on the second draw before standing pat on the final draw. Brown tabled 8x6x4x3x2x, good enough to take down the pot and ensure his tournament survival.

Brant Hale raised in the hijack and on the button Ryan Moriarty called while Anatolii Zyrin callled in the big blind.

Anatolii drew three, Hale drew two and Moriarty drew two. Zyrin checked over to Hale who bet and both players called.

The following betting round saw Anatolii draw one, Hale stood pat and Moriarty drew two. Action checked over to Hale once more who bet and only Moriarty called.

The final draw saw Hale stand pat and check over to Moriarty who drew one and bet and after some time, Hale folded, ceding the pot to Moriarty.

Shimelfarb and Zyrin each took two on the first draw while Pupillo stood pat. Pupillo then bet, getting a fold from Zyrin.

On the second draw Shimelfarb again took two with Pupillo once more standing pat.

Shimelfarb made a nine to best Mermelstein's ten and he doubled through his opponent.

The following hand he moved all in from the small blind against Nick Pupillo who called.

Shimelfarb drew one and Pupillo whispered "that's not good," while drawing three. The following draw saw the same draw which saw Shimelfarb stay pat on the final draw while Pupillo drew two.

"If you have an eight I lose," said Pupillo who turned over 9x7x4x3x without looking at his final card. Shimelfarb grinned and turned over 9x6x5x3x2x which had Pupillo drawing dead as well and he doubled up twice in the deuce round.
