Daniel Vargas
Daniel Vargas

The player in early position raised to 1,800 and the players on the cutoff, button and big blind all came along. The flop came out 4?4?K? and the big blind checked. The early position player made the continuation bet of 2,200 and everyone folded except Daniel Vargas on the button.

The turn brought the 9? and early position bet 5,000. Despite being in the hand, Vargas carried on his casual conversation at the table and called.

Both players checked through the river 5? and Vargas flipped over A?K? and the early position player flipped over one card, the K?, and Vargas scooped the pot with his pair of kings with the ace kicker.
