Rafi Amit Takes a Big Hit

Sherkhan Farnood and Rafi Amit were involved in a big pot. There was about 78,000 in preflop. Before the cards were dealt, Farnood pushed all in, in the dark. The flop was {10-Hearts}{9-Spades}{8-Hearts} and Amit called.

Farnood: {K-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{J-Spades}
Amit: {K-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{10-Spades}

Farnood flopped a straight. The turn was the {10-Diamonds} and the river was the {2-Clubs}. Amit's stack slipped to around 70,000.

Sick Laydown

Ted Forrest just made a sickening laydown.

David Callaghan goes all in, Ted Forrest reraises to isolate him, Antoine Arnault throws more chips in the pot, but not enough to be a reraise and he didn't announce raise, so it counts as a call. Forrest only has 10,000 chips left in a 200k pot.

{3-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}

Arnualt bets Teds last 10000, Ted does not like the flop. He dwells up forever and eventually folds, despite getting 20-1. He looks unhappy about it.

Good fold though, Callaghan has Aces, Arnault has Kings and Callaghan doubles up.

Forrest is on his last breath.

Farnood Calls the Clock on Bloch

The adrenalin appears to be pumping as the left-handside table becomes more and more vocal as time passes. The last hand I witnessed involved Sherkhan Farnood re-raising Bloch's initial raise of 20k before calling the clock on Bloch.

There was a bit of a debate regarding how long Bloch had been given to think, but by the time they'd agreed upon that about a decade had passed.

"I would have folded ages ago if you hadn't called the clock," announced Bloch amusingly.

At this point, he did indeed fold, but in all the excitement, Rafi Amit picked up Farnood's cards and mumbled, "Let's have a look at what you've got here."

It was all very good humoured, with the noise deriving from Farnood and Amit resulting in hushes from the table next door, but the TD decided to issue Rafi with a warning threatening the sin bin for the next offense.

If anyone has watched Rafi Amit play before, he's not a shy lad. He shouts every time he speaks and isn't afraid to say what's on his mind. Consequently, I can imagine him causing quite a stir with some of the more reserved players.

I look forward to seeing Rafi Amit and Tony G crossing swords at the table and tangling in a non-stop verbal needle fest.
