Plum Doubles on the First Hand

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Carter Newhof opened to 140,000 in the cutoff and Mikkel Plum shipped all in for 370,000 in the big blind. Newhof reluctantly called and the cards were tabled.

Mikkel Plum: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{4-Clubs}
Carter Newhof: {k-Hearts}{q-Spades}{q-Hearts}{5-Hearts}

The flop came {k-Spades}{8-Spades}{4-Hearts} and Newhof picked up a pair of kings. The {j-Hearts} on the turn also gave Newhof a flush draw but the {j-Clubs} on the river ensured Plum of full double up.
