On Monday, Wynn Poker Room, as part of its Fall Classic, kicked off a $1,600 Mystery Bounty No-Limit Hold'em event, a unique and popular bounty tournament the Las Vegas Strip. PokerNews will be on-site live reporting all the Day 2 action on Thursday.

The luxurious resort and casino also released the schedule for another upcoming series the 2021 Wynn Winter Classic, which features daily mid-stakes tournaments from December 6-20.

Mystery Bounty Action Heats Up

This week, however, the focus remains on the Fall Classic, in which numerous players have won large sums of money. Day 1 of the Mystery Bounty began at noon PT on Monday. Days 1b and 1c will take place at the same time on Tuesday and Wednesday respectively. The tournament differs from traditional bounty events in that players don't know how much their bounty is worth, and that's what makes it so exciting.

After busting someone, a player receives a mystery envelope with a value marked inside. Earlier in the series, Omaha truck driver Donald Nimneh opened his envelope and found $250,000 marked inside. In this week's tournament, the maximum jackpot is $100,000 with multiple $25,000 envelopes mixed in as well.

Wynn Winter Classic Schedule

Starting December 6, the Wynn Resort will begin a brand new series lasting two weeks. Play kicks off with the $600 No-Limit Hold'em tournament, which guarantees at least $150,000 in prize money. The two-day event features two Day 1 starting flights with the final table scheduled for December 8.

The highlight of the series is the $5,300 No-Limit Hold'em, a $2 million guaranteed event beginning December 17 and ending December 20, which coincides with the conclusion of the two-week series. The full schedule is below:
