2023 PokerStars WCOOP

The $80 million guaranteed 2023 World Championship Of Online Poker (WCOOP) kicks off at PokerStars on September 10, bringing with it an action-packed schedule of 340 tournaments across a range of variants and format.

Earlier this week, PokerNews brought you the lowdown on the best affordable Hold'em events on the 2023 WCOOP schedule, those with buy-ins of $5.50 through $33. Although Hold'em events account for 244 of the 340 tournaments taking place from September 10 through October 4, there are 96 non-Hold'em variants waiting for you to get stuck into, making this festival perfect if you want to try your luck or showcase your skills in a variant other than "the Cadillac of Poker."

Omaha and Omaha Hi-Lo

Omaha poker is second to only Hold'em in terms of popularity, so it makes sense that the bulk of the non-Hold'em WCOOP events are in this variant. Some 52 tournaments are played as Omaha, which can be further broken down to 22 Omaha Hi-Lo tournaments (including fixed and no-limit), 21 Pot-Limit Omaha tournaments, six 5-card PLO, and a trio of No-Limit Hold'em/Pot-Limit Omaha mixed games.

The Omaha tournaments have buy-ins from $5.50 right up to $10,300, but these are just five of those tournaments that will sting you for $22 or less.

Of course, if you are an Omaha fan, you should try your luck in the satellites or head down the Power Path and try to win your way into the PLO Main Events. They cost $109, $1,050, and $10,300, respectively, with those events' guarantees weighing in at $200,000, $500,000, and $750,000.

Here are all of the Omaha and Omaha Hi-Lo tournaments taking place during the 2023 WCOOP.
