Rozenberg Runs Out of Chips

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Over on the feature table, Lionel Rozenberg was all in for his last 100,000 chips with {Q-Hearts}?{Q-Spades} and Dany Parlafes looked him up with the {A-Diamonds}?{K-Spades}. The Romanian would improve on the {8-Diamonds}?{A-Clubs}?{J-Diamonds} flop, though Rozenberg picked up a double gut shot straight draw on the {10-Clubs} turn. A blank {4-Diamonds} river sent the Frenchman to the rail.

Carlino: "I Play Good! Because I'm a Champion!"

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Daniel Carlsson
Daniel Carlsson

Joseph Carlino opened for 25,000 from the cutoff and Daniel Carlsson called from the small blind. Carlsson checked to Carlino on {9-Diamonds}{A-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} and the Frenchman bet out 30,000. Carlsson check raised to 85,000 and Carlino made the call without giving it to many thoughts. The {J-Clubs} fell on the turn and Carlsson bet out 140,000.

"You want my stack? I go all in! You bluff!" said Carlino with a lot of fanfare. "He's all in?" asked Carlsson the dealer to double check, "I call" he added when the dealer confirmed.

Carlino showed {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts} for top set, Carlsson tabled {6-Diamonds}{6-Spades}.

"I know you have a set!" shouted Carlino. "You want my stack, I give you my stack!" added Carlino twice.

The {9-Clubs} completed the board and though it kind of looked like a six, it meant Carlino had to give 405,000 total to his French opponent.

"I Play Good! Because I'm a Champion!" shouted Carlino on the top of his lungs. "You don't know who I am. You see my videos on the internet. I'm a champion! Swimming, taekwondo, singing!" said Carlino while doubling up.

Parlafes Busts Jaoui

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
David Jaoui
David Jaoui

David Jaoui opened the action to 25,000 from the hijack only to have Dany Parlafes three-bet to 62,000 from the next seat over. The button and blinds folded and action was back on Jaoui. He thought for a moment before four-betting to 150,000. Parlafes came back over the top with a five-bet to 255,000, Jaoui quickly six-bet shoved for about 720,000 and Parlafes instantly called.

Parlafes: {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds}
Jaoui: {A-Clubs}{K-Spades}

The flop came down {7-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{Q-Clubs} giving Jaoui a glimmer of hope to make a gutshot Broadway straight draw. He picked up even more outs after the {9-Clubs} fell on fourth street. Ultimately, nothing materialized on the river as the {2-Diamonds} completed the board. Jaoui was eliminated from play and his elimination prompted the field to re-draw to the final three tables.

Parlafes is now sitting on approximiately 2.01 million.

Cohen Doubles Through Tsairis

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Evangelos Tsairis set Massou Cohen all in on a completed board of {Q-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{A-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{3-Spades}. Cohen, after some pondering, called for his own tournament life of roughly 150,000.

Cohen rolled over {Q-Spades}{J-Clubs} for a pair of queens and it was good against Tsairis' {J-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} which went promptly into the muck. Cohen stood from the table in celebration then sat back to down to stack his chips to about 360,000.

Carlino Goes for the Solo

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Joseph Carlino was singing right into the camera, making a spectacle out of his 4 minute solo for the live stream. The dealer got underway dealing a new hand and Carlino was right in time to receive his cards.

Action folded to Miroslav Alilovic in the cutoff who opened for 26,000. Carlino looked at his cards and pushed all in, talking to the camera while doing it. "I'm all in!" he laughed. It was for 363,000 total and Alilovic couldn't call.

Alilovic showed {A-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}, Carlino tabled {K-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}.

"What is going on?" asked a confused railbird. "This is France" someone answered with a grin.

Carlino Is Singing Again

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Straight back from the break, Joseph Carlino put his stack at risk with {7-Clubs}?{7-Diamonds} and had a coin flip against the {A-Spades}?{K-Spades} of Matas Cimbolas. The Lithuanian would find no help on a board of {4-Hearts}?{4-Diamonds}?{4-Clubs}?{2-Hearts}?{3-Diamonds} and fell below his opponent in the overall chip counts.

Carlino celebrated the victory by singing, which he already did yesterday as well.
