Owais Ahmed got into a preflop raising war with Rob "the Jewish Bulldog" Goldstein. They ended up with all the chips in the middle and went to a showdown.

We didn't catch the hand, but we heard the cry of "seat open" from Kelly Kim's table, and saw that his seat was empty with a seat card in front of it. He has been eliminated from the tournament. Kim is best known for his 8th place finish in the first November Nine at the 2008 main event. Kim is the only former November Niner in the field, though Allen Cunningham and Jerry Yang, former final table participants, are still alive and well.

According to WSOP TD Jack Effel we are only a few players away from 300. At last count there were 296 players registered with registration open all day.
We were tracking Tuan Le when this hand occured. An early position player opened for 425 and Le called behind. Two players called and the flop came 
. It was checked to the original raiser and he bet 1,300 and all three players called. The turn came 
and this time action was checked to Le, who bet 2,100. One caller folded, the big blind called and the original raiser moved all in for around 12,000. Le insta-folded and the big blind hemmed and hawed before calling.
"Got an eight?" the original raiser asked.
"Yeah," he responded, tabling

"Well what took you so long to call?" the frustrated original raiser asked as he turned over

There was no response as the dealer peeled off the 
and sent the pot to the big blind.
We found Ray Henson facing a 2,500 bet on the river with the board reading 
. Hensen re-checked his hole cards and elected to fold. Henson is below the starting stack.
