Doug Ganger has taken the advantage in the early going of this heads-up battle. In recent hold'em hands he was able to take down some healthy pots with some aggressive play. Ganger check-raised in one hand and took it down, and followed next hand that with a bet, three-bet to force a fold from his opponent. Both plays were on the turn.
Ganger is now up to 1.5 million while Jens Voertmann is down to about 1 million. However with the blinds at these levels the chip swings are very significant.

and Voertmann bet again, before Luske raised it up. Voertmann thought for a moment before making the call.
and Luske bet his last 60,000 which Voertmann called.
