A Couple of Hold'em Pots For Sagstrom

Hold'em

David Bach raised from the button, before Erik Sagstrom reraised from the small blind. John Hanson folded his big blind and Bach made the call.

The flop fell {10-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{9-Clubs} and Sagstrom fired out a bet of 120,000 to take it down as Bach tossed his cards into the muck.

Next hand, Erik Sagstrom raised from the button and David Bach defended his big blind.

They took a flop of {A-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{3-Hearts}. Bach checked to Sagstrom who fired a continuation bet to take down another pot.

Vitaly Lunkin (X)(X) {2-Clubs} {4-Clubs} {8-Spades} {8-Hearts} (X)
Erik Sagstrom (X)(X) {7-Hearts} {5-Hearts} {A-Spades} {10-Hearts} (X)

Lunkin showed {5-Clubs} {8-Hearts} for trip eights and a draw to an 8-5 low, but Sagstrom turned over {A-Clubs} {A-Hearts} for trip aces. Lunkin hit the {J-Diamonds} on the river, missing his low and failing to hit a full house to improve his hand. Sagstrom caught the {9-Clubs} and scooped the pot with his set, sending Lunkin to the rail in fourth place.

Bach Arrives a Little Late

After missing the first hand of play after the break, David Bach has rushed in to take his seat for the second hand.

It appears that John Hanson was not happy that Bach was allowed to sit and complained that the dealer had already released his last card before Bach sat. After some heated words with the TD, Hanson got his wish and Bach sat out one more uneventful Stud-8 hand.
