To the Bubble and Way Beyond on Day 4 of the 2024 WSOP Main Event
The record-breaking 2024 World Series of Poker $10,000 Main Event will return near the money bubble for Day 4, as just 1,529 players remain out of a field of 10,112 entries. Late on Day 3, the paid places were all but reached at the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas and just twelve more eliminations are required to ensure a piece of the $94,041,600 prize pool for all returning hopefuls.
Leading the way to the tense bubble period as of noon local time is Spanish poker pro Francisco Perez Moreno, who bagged up an impressive 2,187,000. He is followed by Justin Datloff (1,819,000) and 2019 third-place finisher Alex Livingston (1,808,000). Several other big names can be found in the overnight top ten such as Matt Stout (1,670,000), 2024 WSOP bracelet winner Francis Anderson (1,655,000), and Ren Lin (1,570,000) who all have more than or slightly less than 200 big blinds at their disposal.

Plenty of other notables have big stacks to un-bag such as Will Failla (1,390,000), Alex Keating (1,376,000), Isaac Kempton (1,319,000), Nacho Barbero (1,289,000), Jans Arends (1,189,000), Adam Friedman (1,171,000), and Naoya Kihara (1,020,000). In total, 73 players return with seven-figure stack sizes while $25k Fantasy Draft pick Danny Tang is only one pot away from the same feat with 980,000 to his name.
Six former WSOP Main Event winners are still in contention, but it is 2019 WSOP Europe Main Event champion Alexandros Kolonias who leads the way with 1,310,000. Koray Aldemir (443,000) and Joe McKeehen (420,000) are separated by three big blinds only and they are joined on Day 4 by Scott Blumstein (299,000), Robert Varkonyi (280,000), Espen Jorstad (136,000) and defending champion Daniel Weinman (82,000).
Weinman returns with only ten big blinds to try and make the money and the WSOP Hall of Famers Erik Seidel (78,000) and Daniel Negreanu (74,000) find themselves in the same boat as well.
All remaining players will return to their seats in the Horseshoe Grand Ballroom at noon local time and the opening stages will be dominated by the tense money bubble with the min-cash of $15,000 in sight. A total of five two-hour levels are scheduled for today, with a 20-minute break after every level and an extended dinner break after the end of the third level. The action resumes in Level 16 with blinds of 4,000/8,000 with an 8,000 big blind ante.
