2024 World Series of Poker
The flop had three players contesting it as it read 5?3?Q?. From the button, Seth Bobet bet 2,000. Lucas Greenwood called from early position and the hijack folded.
The turn was the 6?. Both players checked to the river which came the K?. Greenwood led for 2,000. Bobat raised to 5,000 which Greenwood called after a couple of moments.
Bobat showed the 5?5? for a flopped set to take the pot.

Paul DeGiulio raised to 1,200 from early position, Nenad Cvetkovic three-bet to 3,800 from the hijack and DeGiulio called.
The 4?9?8? flop saw DeGiulio play out of flow, leading for 12,000. Cvetkovic, confused by the wager, went deep into the tank, eventually electing to fold.
"Ace-king no good?" asked Cvetkovic.
"It may have been good by the end of the hand" DeGiulio replied, gesturing to the board as if Cvetkovic fate might have changed on the turn or the river.

Picking up the action on the flop, Michael Trivett from under the gun was involved in a hand with a player in the cutoff.
With the board reading 6?6?5? Trivett check-called a bet from his opponent.
Trivett checked again following the 3? turn. The cutoff player tossed 5,000 into the middle but was unable to shake off Trivett, who made the call.
The Q? river saw Trivett check once more. His opponent was in no mood to go to a cheap showdown, instead firing off 9,000. Trivett thought for a moment, then committed calling chips holding A?K?. The cutoff could only show K?9? for a bluff to send the pot over to Trivett.

A player in early position raised and was called by Justin Bonomo in middle position. The player in the hijack three-bet to 3,700 and only Bonomo called.
Bonomo check-called a 2,500 bet from his opponent on the 4?8?J? flop and an 8,000 bet on the 7? turn.
Both players checked down on the 7? river and Bonomo showed A?J? for jacks up. His opponent mucked and Bonomo was sent the pot.

The aftermath of a hand was displayed as there was another case of kings cracking aces on this Day 1c of the Main Event.
There had been a series of raises preflop until Razvan Belea six-bet jammed all in which was snap-called by Danny Wong.
Razvan Belea: K?K?
Danny Wong: AxAx
The flop came 5x10x7x but the turn was a Kx and the river a Jx to crack the aces and deny Wong what would have been a big stack and send Belea the big pot.
