Kenny's Aces Hold On to Double

Level 19 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Jeffrey Kenny
Jeffrey Kenny

Jeffrey Kenny got his stack of 765,000 in the middle before the flop from under the gun as an opponent on the button put him at risk.

Jeffrey Kenny: A?A? All in
Opponent: Q?Q?

Kenny was far ahead with his aces and poised for a double up as the flop came 6?10?9?. The J? turn gave his opponent some hope with a straight draw, but Kenny held on through the 5? river to double up.

"Yes. Always a sweat," he yelled out before taking in the pot.

Jose Aguilera, last year's 10th-place Main Event finisher, is also at this table.

Hovsepyan Cracks Aces to Double

Level 19 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Picking up the action partway through the hand, Ruben Hovsepyan in late position was all in and at risk against a player in early position.

Ruben Hovsepyan: A?3? All in
Early Position Player: A?A?

Hovsepyan was in awful shape but did find some faint hope on the 3?8?7? flop. The J? turn did not change anything but the 3? river was a miracle for Hovsepyan as he doubled up in fortunate fashion.

Another player at the table, Donavan Cox, revealed that he had folded queens preflop, thus preserving his stack.

Jason Somerville raised to 30,000 in early position and was called by both the small blind and the player in the big blind. All players checked through the Q?J?6? flop before the 8? fell on the turn.

The small blind made a bet of 60,000 and was called by both opponents. On the 4? river, the action checked to Somerville once more, who placed a wager of 150,000 chips.

Both the small blind and the big blind quickly folded their cards, shipping the pot to Somerville.

Krentzman Bets Out Hoenig in Three-Way All In

Level 19 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

A player in the small blind was already all in as Evan Krentzman and Ryan Hoenig went to the 2?4?2? flop with around 300,000 in the pot.

Hoenig then bet 120,000 from early position and Krentzman called in middle position. The turn was the K? and Hoenig bet another 155,000.

Krentzman again called and the 4? fell on the river. Hoenig slowed down and checked, then snap-folded when Krentzman moved all in. Krentzman showed A?Q? for the nut flush and the small blind's cards quickly hit the muck before he headed off to the rail.
