Schroeder Flipped Out of the Main Event

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Derek Schroeder shoved for 135,000 from early position and got called by both Yiannis Liperis & Toby Gibson before Gustavo Kamei shoved from the cutoff for 690,000. Liperis and Gibson both got out of the way, which left Schroeder a chance to more than quadruple up.

Derek Schroeder: K?J? All in
Gustavo Kamei: 10?10?

Schroeder picked up a flush draw on the turn but never managed to hit any of his outs as the board ran out A?2?4?7?7?, which kept Kamei's pocket tens in the lead.

Adomkevicius Climbs to Six Million

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Ryan Hoenig opened to 50,000 from middle position and then called after Aneris Adomkevicius three-bet to 185,000 in late position.

Hoenig checked following the 6?8?A? flop. Adomkevicius continued for 100,000 only to see Hoenig respond with a raise to 280,000. After some thought, Adomkevicius flatted.

Action checked through the 8? turn to the 9? river at which point Hoenig checked once more. Adomkevicius, unwilling to go to a cheap showdown, bet 375,000. That was enough to force a fold from Hoenig as Adomkevicius chipped up to hit the six million mark.
