Yake Wu
Yake Wu

Yake Wu opened to 300,000 from early position and Andrew Arbogast three-bet jammed a stack of 1,7750,000 from the big blind. Wu gave it some thought and called with a bigger stack.

Andrew Arbogast: 6?6? All in
Yake Wu: A?9?

Wu took a big lead on the flop of A?J?K? and the runout of A?7? only improved his hand as Arbogast was sent to the rail.

Dourado Takes a Five-Bet Pot with Aces

Level 29 : Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante

After Aloisio Dourado three-bet to 1,000,000 from the hijack with A?A?, Alex Keating in the cutoff four-bet to 2,400,000 with 8?8?. The button and the blinds folded, then Dourado chose to five-bet to 4,100,000.

Keating went into the tank, and eventually made the call to see the 3?K?3? flop. Dourado continued for 2,500,000, and Keating decided to fold.

"Wrecking Ball" Davis Fills Up in a Monster Pot to Bust Sanchez

Level 29 : Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante
Kevin Davis
Kevin Davis

Three players saw a flop of 9?5?2? where Brian Rast bet 850,000 from early position. Kevin Davis then raised to 1,800,000 in middle position.

Action then went on Francisco Sanchez in the big blind who moved all in for 7,000,000. Rast asked for a count of both opponents' stacks as he went into the tank for several minutes.

He eventually folded, but Davis snap-called to create a massive pot with more than 15,000,000 at stake.

Francisco Sanchez: A?J? All in
Kevin Davis: 2?2?

Rast said he folded two jacks as Sanchez showed down the nut flush draw, while Davis had a set of deuces. The turn was the 5? and Davis improved to a full house to leave Sanchez drawing dead.

Sanchez cruelly saw the 8? fall on the river that completed his no-good flush and laughed it off as he filmed the action before heading for the rail.

"You're a wrecking ball, man," Rast told Davis, who moved up to 26,000,000 and into the tournament chip lead.

Zakarian Shows Geith a Set

Level 29 : Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante

Robert Geith raised to 300,000 from the hijack and was called by Veerab Zakarian in the small blind.

Zakarian led out for 300,000 on the 2?3?4? flop and Geith min-raised to 600,000. Zakarian called.

The A? fell on the turn and Zakarian led out again — this time for 450,000. Geith called.

Both players checked down on the K? river and Geith announced a pair of aces. Geith tabled 3?3? for a flopped set of threes and Zakarian showed AxJx before sending it into the muck.

Jonathan Tamayo opened from middle position, then Mathias Pedersen in the big blind three-bet to 1,075,000. Action back to him, Tamayo four-bet, and Pedersen waited a few seconds before making the call, finding himself at risk for 1,175,000.

Mathias Pedersen: 6?6??All in
Jonathan Tamayo:?A?K?

James Plays Three Consecutive Hands

Level 29 : Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante
Jason James
Jason James

Jason James came back from the dinner break full of energy and was involved in three consecutive pots.

First, Luis Vasquez opened the cutoff to 325,000 and James defended his big blind.

On the 8?9?9? flop, both players checked to the Q? turn. James bet 225,000, and Vasquez called.

A 2? completed the board and James fired 400,000, which Vasquez called.

James tabled K?J? but Vasquez had the winner with A?J? for ace-high.

Next, Sami Bechahed opened the cutoff to 300,000 and James shoved from the small blind. Bechahed folded.

Lastly, Bechahed opened the hijack to 300,000 and James three-bet the button to 800,000. Bechahed called.

The flop came 2?8?5? where Bechahed check-called a bet of 500,000 from James.

On the 7? turn, both players checked to the 6? river. Bechahed shoved, and James folded.

Two Double Ups on the Outer Tables

Level 29 : Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante

Gary Dishongh earned a full double when his Q?Q? rivered a full house on a board of J?6?3?3?Q? to take a small chunk out of the big stack of Joe Serock.

Two tables down, Daniel Erlandsson raise-called the shove by Jean Lhuillier, who pulled the "getting up from his chair" trick during the below showdown.

Jean Lhuillier: 7?7? All in
Daniel Erlandsson: A?5?

The board ran out K?8?8?2?7? and the pocket sevens improved to a full house.

"I Know You Flatted Aces"

Level 29 : Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante
Adrian Garcia Galipienso
Adrian Garcia Galipienso

Malcolm Franchi opened to 300,000 from under the gun and Adrian Garcia called in the next seat as Gaston Martinez called in the big blind with a short stack.

Martinez led out for 225,000 on the flop of 6?3?5? and Franchi raised to 450,000. Garcia then three-bet to 2,300,000 and Martinez went deep in the tank before folding. Franchi then folded J?J? face-up.

"I know you flatted aces because of the short stack in the big blind," Franchi told his opponent, who did not reveal his hand.

Martinez busted soon after when the final nine tables were set.
