Abusaleh Escapes From Elimination

Level 26 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Rakan Abusaleh already loudly declared his elimination and asked for a payout when his A?K? was up against Jonathan Sprung with the 10?10?.

The board ran out Q?7?6?2?K? and Abusaleh rivered the superior pair to double for 1,305,000.

"Cancel the payout," he joked. It was actually needed but one table over as Emilien Pitavy was knocked out by Alex Keating, while Sprung was left on fumes.

Sprung Moves in Blind

Level 26 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Jonathan Sprung was down to his last 220,000 and moved all in under the gun without looking. Aleksejs Ponakovs called in middle position and the rest of the table folded.

Jonathan Sprung: 7?4? All in
Aleksejs Ponakovs: A?8?

"I haven't looked. That one's live, and so is this one. I like live cards," Sprung said as he slowly turned over his cards one-by-one.

The 5?4?2? flop gave him a pair and the lead, but Ponakovs hit a straight on the 3? turn. "Six," Sprung called for as the 5? fell on the river.

Tablemate Rakan Abusaleh began celebrating before realizing the river was a five and not a six. "Sorry, I thought it was a six," Abusalem said to Sprung.

"It's all good," Sprung replied on his way to the payout desk.

Minh Hoang

Minh Hoang was all in from early position against Pedro Safar on the button, who had him covered.

Minh Hoang: A?J? All in
Pedro Safar: 9?9?

The flop of 5?K?9? gave Safar a big lead with a set, but the A? turn gave Hoang some hope with a flush draw. Sadly, the J? river improved him to a no-good two pair as he was sent to the rail.

Four ways to the J?9?6? flop, Kevin Davis in the small blind and Alexandru Brumaru in the big blind checked. Jason Sagle bet 100,000 and Brian Hawkins called. Davis then check-raised to 380,000 and Brumaru folded. Sagle asked for the sizing on the other side of the table and then made it 800,000 to go.

Hawkins quickly folded and Davis also sent the cards into the muck.

Level 26 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Adrian Lopez opened from early position, then called after Jesse Capps on the button three-bet to 1,145,000, almost his entire stack.

The dealer fanned a flop of 3?2?Q?, Lopez bet and Capps called with his last 5,000 red chip.

Jesse Capps:?10?10? All in
Adrian Lopez:?K?Q?
