In a blind-on-blind pot, Edward Pak and Boris Angelov had gathered around 1,600,000 chips before the A?8?2? flop was dealt. Pak then bet 700,000 chips from the small blind and Angelov called in the big blind.
The A? turn was checked by both players before Pak checked again on the 4? river. Angelov slid enough chips in to put Pak all in. Pak thought for some time before counting his chips and mucking his cards.

On the 9? turn, Rast checked and Foxen fired out 1,100,000. This bet folded out the Poker Hall of Famer, and Foxen took in the pot.

Action checked through the 3? turn to the 3? river at which point Lopez checked once more. Hernandez, unwilling to go to a cheap showdown, bet big, making it 4,400,000. After some thought, Lopez called with the 8?8? but could only watch as Hernandez scooped the pot holding A?A?.

Randy Gattesco: J?10?
Jessie Bryant: J?J?
"Oh man, I am in trouble," Gattesco had said when he saw Bryant table the pocket jacks. The 10? turn gave some hope but the Q? river ended Gattesco's run on the pay jump in 54th place for $160,000.

Russell showed A?J? for jacks and fives, but Coelho had the better hand with K?K? for kings and fives to receive a massive double-up.
