Today's Day 26 of the 2019 World Series of Poker (WSOP) will be bustling with action with almost 3,000 players returning for Day 2 of the Monster Stack and thousands more expected for the $800 Deepstack event starting today.

There will be two bracelets awarded today with the Ladies Event down to six players led by Tu Dao and the $2,500 Mixed Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better, Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo 8 or Better down to a dozen with Michael Thompson in the lead.

A big story could be developing in the $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Championship with Ben Lamb entering today's Day 2 with a sizable stack, with his only bracelet to date coming in this event eight years ago in 2011.

Here's what's on tap today, in the daily What to Watch For on PokerNews, sponsored by 888poker.

Event #47: $1,000/$10,000 Ladies No-Limit Hold'em Championship

The 968 entrant field is down to just six players entering today's fourth and final day with a guarantee that the first woman will win a WSOP bracelet this year. The action kicks off today at noon PDT and will be simultaneously live streamed at PokerGO and CBS All Access with hole cards exposed starting at 1 p.m. PDT.

Tu Dao
Tu Dao leads the final table of six.

Tu Dao entered Day 3 in the chip lead and had a rollercoaster day before finding herself in the same position today with 5,420,000 in chips. She is closely followed by Jiyoung Kim (5,100,000) and WSOP Circuit ring winner Nancy Matson (4,530,000).

The trio has a huge gap on the rest of the final table; Lyly Vo (1,700,000), Lexy Gavin (1,430,000), and Sandrine Phan (1,185,000).

Event #50: Monster Stack - $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em

The Monster Stack attracted a huge field of 6,035 entrants including 3,607 players battling it out for 11 blind levels on yesterday's Day 1b to create an $8,147,250 prize pool with the winner going home with the bracelet and a massive $1,008,850 top prize.

The 2,902 survivors from the two opening flights will merge together for a combined field and play ten blind levels of an hour each starting at 1,000/2,000 and a big blind ante of 2,000 when the action resumes at 11 a.m. PDT today.

Players bagging chips today will compete for three more days until someone wins the bracelet on June 26 in front of a live-streamed audience at CBS All Access in the United States, Canada, and Australia and at PokerGO in the rest of the world.

Conor Beresford is the chip leader after bagging 724,000 in chips. Others entering today's action with big stacks include Amnon Filippi (645,000), Mark Johnson (561,000), Guillermo Padilla (510,000), and Kapila Garner (464,100).

Event #51: $2,500 Mixed Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better, Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo 8 or Better

After two days of play, the field is down to a dozen players out of the original field of 401 entrants with one final day left to go, starting today at 2 p.m. PDT. Each of the remaining players is guaranteed to go home with a $10,641 payout with the eventual winner banking $213,750.

Michael Thompson
Michael Thompson enters the final day in the lead.

Michael Thompson (923,000) enters the final day with a small chip lead against his nearest competitor Daniel Ratigan (899,000). Both players are hunting for their first bracelets with Philip Long (813,000), Day 2 chip leader Andrey Zaichenko (424,000), and Dan Zack (214,000) each looking to add a second. If Zack can work magic with his short stack and win the event, he would become the first two-time bracelet winner in this year's WSOP after previously triumphing Event #6: $2,500 Limit Mixed Triple Draw for $160,447.

Today's action is scheduled to play down to a winner with a structure of one-hour blind levels and games rotating between Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better and Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo Eight or Better.

Event #52: $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Championship

This four-day championship event has thus far been a huge success with 494 players ponying up the $10,000 buy-in and more to come with late registration closing at the start of today's Day 2 at 2 p.m. PDT. This already eclipses the 474 players that battled it out last year when Loren Klein won this event for his third of four bracelets and the $1,018,336 top prize. Klein, who already has won a bracelet this year, won't be a defending champion as he was one of yesterday's casualties with 253 players surviving the day.

Ben Lamb
Ben Lamb one of the bigger stacks on Day 2.

Yi Li (572,000), Mohsin Virani (401,000), and Timothy Batow (358,700) have bagged the biggest stacks. Ben Lamb, who won this event in 2011 for $813,346 and his only bracelet, bagged big too with 343,700.

Frank Koopmann (294,900), Chris O'Hara (278,000), Fahredin Mustafov (260,000), and Sasha Liu (242,300) also had a good day at the tables. Other big names advancing to Day 2 include Kahle Burns (210,200), bracelet winner Ryan Laplante (206,000), six-time bracelet winner Daniel Negreanu (195,000), three-time bracelet winner Phil Galfond (147,600), five-time bracelet winner Daniel Alaei (138,000), four-time bracelet winner Robert Mizrachi (126,500), and eight-time bracelet winner Erik Seidel (110,000).

Event #53: $800 No-Limit Hold'em Deepstack

The newly introduced Deepstack bracelet events have been a smashing success and this event is expected to be no different with an $800 buy-in proving to be more affordable for many than the price tag on other events. The $750,000 guarantee is likely just a placeholder based off the prior Deepstack events this festival as it wouldn't be surprising if the total prize pool more than doubled the guarantee.

This event is scheduled for two days which hasn't proven to be enough for the other No-Limit Hold'em Deepstack events and there will more than likely be a third day added.

The action today kicks off at 11 a.m. with players starting off with 40,000 in chips and blinds increasing every 30 minutes starting at 100/100. Players can reenter once during the late registration period which closes after Level 12 and will bag chips after 20 levels of play.

Surviving players will return tomorrow at 1 p.m. and be treated with longer 40-minute blind levels.

Event #54: $1,500 Razz

Players will be aiming for wheels in this lowball seven-card game where ace-two-three-four-five represents the nuts.

Today's action begins at 3 p.m. with players starting off with 10,000 in chips and levels increasing every hour starting at high card donating 100, completions at 200, and limits at 200/400 with a big blind ante of 300.

Late registration in this four-day event ends after eight blind levels and players will bag chips after ten blind levels.

Jay Kwon
Jay Kwon won this event last year.

Last year, Jay Kwon outlasted a field of 389 entrants to win his sole bracelet and the $125,431 top prize.

Event #55: $1,000 WSOP.com ONLINE No-Limit Hold'em Double Stack

It's Sunday Funday once again, which means online players located in New Jersey and Nevada will have another chance at winning a WSOP bracelet from the comfort of their own homes. Players from around the world can play provided they are at least 21 years of age but must be within these two states while playing.

Players begin the action in this one-day event with 30,000 in chips and blinds increasing every 15 minutes starting at 25/50. There will be no shortage of opportunities to build a big stack with three reentries permitted during the four-hour late registration window.
