Day 37 of the 2019 World Series of Poker will feature the continuation of three big events including the start of Day 1b of the $10,000 WSOP Main Event.
The $5,000 No-Limit Hold'em 6-Handed event will be playing down to a winner today with with Joao Vieira in the lead and Joe Cada hunting for his fifth WSOP bracelet with six players remaining.
The $10,000 Limit Championship has 15 players remaining with Mike Lancaster in the lead followed by Juha Helppi.
Meanwhile, the $500 SALUTE TO WARRIOR event is taking a day off from action in honor of Independence Day in the United States and will resume again tomorrow at noon PDT with Taylor Carroll leading the final eight players.

Event #70: $5,000 No-Limit Hold'em 6-Handed
After three days of play, the field of 815 entrants is down to a final table of six players with Day 3 chip leader Joao Vieira coasting to the chip lead in back to back days with a stack of 7,635,000 in chips.
2009 WSOP Main Event champion Joe Cada (3,105,000) is the only player remaining that has tasted WSOP gold before with four bracelets to his name. Others at the final in the hunt for their first bracelet are Jamie O'Connor (5,190,000), Olivier Busquet (4,050,000), Pierre Calamusa (2,700,000), and Barry Hutter (1,265,000).
The action resumes today at noon PDT about halfway through the 50,000/100,000 with a big blind ante of 100,000 blind level after which blinds increase every hour. CBS All Access will be broadcasting today's action starting at 1 p.m. PDT in the United States, Canada, and Australia, and PokerGO will be doing the same in the rest of the world.

After yesterday's final table elimination of Timothy Cramer in seventh place for $80,109, the final six players are each guaranteed a $110,127 payout with the winner walking away with the bracelet and the $758,011 top prize.

Event #72: $10,000 Limit Hold'em Championship
This Championship Event attracted eight new players before the start of yesterday's Day 2 to grow the field to 118 entrants for a prize pool of $1,109,200. At this point, it isn't certain whether today is the final day or another will be added with 15 players remaining.
Mike Lancaster (1,201,000) and Finnish poker legend Juha Helppi (986,000) are at the top of the leaderboard entering today with both players vying for their first WSOP gold bracelet. Behind this duo are two-time bracelet winner Josh Arieh (772,000), bracelet winner Kevin Song (744,000), and Anthony Marsico (689,000).
In addition to Arieh and Song, three other players are in the mix that have previously won bracelets; Tommy Hang (527,000), John Racener (304,000), and four-time bracelet winner Eli Elezra (250,000).
Blinds will start at 10,000/20,000 with betting limits at 20,000/40,000 when play resumes today at 2 p.m. PDT and increase every 90 minutes.

Event #73: $10,000 No-Limit Hold'em MAIN EVENT - World Championship
The Main Event kicked off yesterday in triumphant fashion with over 1,300 players competing on Day 1a. This crushes the 925 players to participate in last year's Day 1a of the Main Event when John Cynn finished on top of a field of 7,874 entrants to win the $8.8 million top prize. Last year was the second largest Main Event with only the 2006 Main Event bigger when Jamie Gold outlasted a field of 8,773 entrants to win the $12 million top prize.
WSOP bracelet winner Bryan Campanello bagged the chip lead yesterday with 417,500 in chips followed by Raymond Travis Rice (335,000), Timothy Su (297,300), Quentin Roussey (266,400), and Takehiro Kato (259,200).
Today will feature the start of Day 1b at noon PDT with players starting with a monster stack of 60,000 in chips. The action will conclude after five blind levels of two hours each.
