Event #77: $3,000 Limit Hold'em 6-Handed

This event attracted 193 entrants to create a $521,000 prize pool with $133,189 top prize and a coveted bracelet going to the winner. This is slightly down from the 221 entrants that battled it out last year when Yaser Al-Keliddar won the $154,338 top prize.

A total of 57 players survived heading into today's Day 2 at 2 p.m. when blinds will start at 1,000/2,000 with limits at 2,000/4,000 and increase every hour. Players are scheduled to bag chips after ten blind levels and will play for two more days until one player has all the chips on Thursday, July 11.

Ron Carmona

The top five players on the leaderboard in Ron Carmona (142,500), Joshua Turner (139,000), Alex Torry (139,000), Stuart Rutter (130,500), and Jason Bawadi (129,000) are all vying for their first bracelets. Event #90: Final Fifty No-Limit Hold'em

This late-edition to the schedule has been a success thus far with 109 entrants joining in on the action during yesterday's Day 1 or just one less than the 110 entrants that battled in the Event #5: 50th Annual High Roller - $50,000 No-Limit Hold'em won by Ben Heath for $1,484,085. It is likely the field will be even bigger than the earlier $50,000 buy-in event with late registration and reentries open until the start of today's Day 2 at 4 p.m. PDT.

Seth Davies
Seth Davies leads after Day 1.

Seth Davies leads the 44 Day 1 survivors with a stack of 2,250,000 in chips. He is followed by Dan Smith (1,680,000), bracelet winner Elior Sion (1,520,000), three-time bracelet winner Adrian Mateos (1,450,000), and bracelet winner Fedor Holz (1,320,000).
