2024 WSOP Online: $4.3m Triton Champ Roman Hrabec Wins Gold Bracelet

While the 2024 World Series of Poker (WSOP) dominates the physical space of the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas, the series has also been filling up digital tables with its online events.

So far, eight bracelets have been awarded online at this year's WSOP. In the end, six of the eight online bracelet winners were first-timers without gold on their wrists (the other two had a WSOPE and WSOP Online bracelet between them). However, every one of these online braceleteers has had to battle through deep shark-infested fields to earn their spot atop the podium.

There are still another 22 online bracelet events still to go, all playing out on the Nevada platform of WSOP.com.

Use Wisely! Miguel Use Wins First Online Bracelet Of The 2024 WSOP

Miguel Use of Belgium was the first player to win an online bracelet, taking down Online Event #1: $555 No Limit Hold'em 55th Annual Kick Off for $106,613. Use had a previous WSOP final table from the $1,500 Pot Limit Omaha Hi/Lo event in 2017 where he came sixth. He has $280,133 in live cashes, so a $100k+ win is a big score for him.

The online bracelet events got off to a prompt start on June 1 with the Kick-Off event. This event set the tone for the online events, attracting a solid field of 1,544 entries and generating a prize pool of $764,820.

Use beat Stephen Hemsworth heads up to take the bracelet. Hemsworth won $77,818 for second place.

Roman Hrabec Wins Bracelet Hot Off $4.3m Triton Win

Czech pro Roman Hrabec is having a great year. In March, he took first place for $4,330,000 in the Triton Poker Jeju $100,000 NLH Main Event. This massive event was a record-setter with a 216-entry field, making it the biggest $100k event. Now, he's added a WSOP online bracelet win to his CV.

Hrabec's victory in Online Event #5: $333 No Limit Hold'em Triple Treys wasn't quite as lucrative as his Triton win. The event had a prize pool of $814,200 and Hrabec won $100,228 for his first-place finish.

However, beating 2,714 entries to win WSOP gold comes with its own kind of prestige.

Hrabec's heads-up opponent Derek Scott won $71,568 for second place.

Stanton Tentnowski won the first progressive knockout event of the series, Online Event #2: $400 No Limit Hold'em PKO.

Tentnowski was up against British pro and online crusher Chris Moorman at the final table. Moorman ultimately came in seventh for $7,063, just behind Brad Owen (6th - $9,535), and Tentnowski went on to beat Corbin White heads up for the title. White won $39,732 for second place.

The event's prize pool hit $706,320, half of which was placed as bounties on the heads of the 1,962 players who entered.

Evan Sandberg Wins Second Online WSOP Bracelet

Evan Sandberg emerged as the winner of Online Event #3: $1,000 No Limit Hold'em after a heads-up battle with Uri Reichenstein. Sandberg has a prior online bracelet from the 2022 WSOP, where he won the $2,000 No Limit Hold'em - 8-Max ONLINE event.

This year's $1,000 No Limit Hold'em event was a popular one, especially for such a pricey online tournament. In total, the field hit 809 entries.

This deep field created a prize pool of $728,100, from which Sandberg collected $124,831 for his win. Reichenstein won $91,043 for second place.

Poker Author Michael Acevedo Gets Heads Up In Online Deepstack

Robert Strunk found himself up against poker author Michael Acevedo, author of the GTO classic Modern Poker Theory.

The pair were the last remaining fighters from a 1,565-deep field, competing for the lion's share of the $845,100 prize pool.

Acevedo put up a good fight, but Strunk took down the event for $116,708 and the gold. Acevedo left with $85,186 and an anecdote for his next book.

Online Event #4: $600 No Limit Hold'em Deepstack Final Table Results

$400 No Limit Hold'em Ultra Deepstack Goes To Russell Brooks

On June 3, Russell Brooks won the 2024 WSOP PokerNews Daily Deepstacks for $22,644. On June 11, he won another $400 WSOP event, but this time, there was a bracelet and nearly $100k up for grabs.

2,238 players ponied up the buy-in to play Online Event #6: $400 No Limit Hold'em Ultra Deepstack, putting $805,680 in the prize pool and $99,181 up top.

Among those who cashed were notables like Ryan Riess, Vanessa Kade, and Brent Hanks who made it all the way to 12th.

Brooks beat Erik Eshima ($70,819) heads up to take down the event.

Online Event #6: $400 No Limit Hold'em Ultra Deepstack Final Table Results

Ilija Savevski On His Way To WSOP Triple Crown

Ilija Savevski now has two out of three qualifications for the WSOP triple crown. Savevski won Online Event #7: $500 No Limit Hold'em PKO, taking home a WSOP gold bracelet to join his WSOPE bracelet in the Austrian pro's trophy cabinet. All he needs now is a WSOPC ring to complete the set.

Savevski's WSOPE bracelet came in October 2022 when he won WSOPE Event #3: �1,350 No Limit Hold'em Mini Main. In that event, he won �255,669 ($254,820). In this year's event, his victory was worth $40,577, not including bounties.

Savevski survived an online field of 1,603 entries to take on Jonah Labranche heads up for the title. Labranche won $40,576 for second place.

Sungbin Ma caused some confusion in Online Event #8: $1,000 No Limit Hold'em 6-Max with his online handle "mikematusow." Until the man behind the avatar was revealed, Ma's handle led some people to believe that four-time WSOP bracelet winner Mike "The Mouth" Matusow had finally become five-time bracelet winner Mike "The Mouth" Matusow. Ma won $153,250 for his first-place finish.

The event attracted a total prize pool of $1,109,700 from a field of 1,233. That field was full of big names. 2009 Main Event Champion Joe Cada bubbled the final table, coming seventh for $25,190, and some of the most notable poker players at the series cashed, including Daniel Negreanu (56th - $2,663), Erik Seidel (121st - $1,886), and Phil Ivey (188th - $1,665).

While Matusow may have been at the final table in spirit, Felipe Ramos �� a Brazilian pro with $3.7 million in live tournament cashes �� was there in person, coming in fourth for $60,923.

Other notable players to cash in this event include Renan Bruschi (17th - $6,436), Calvin Anderson (23rd - $4,661), Artur Martirosian (28th - $3,995), Vanessa Kade (31st - $3,329), and Jamie Kerstetter (35th - $3,329).
