Sammy Y Departs

Sam Youssef Eliminated
Sam Youssef Eliminated
Sam Youssef arrived late and has now departed early. After Youssef raised to 650, Steve Topakas made the call before Billy Seri moved all in over the top. Youssef called for his last chips as Topakas folded {9-Spades}{8-Spades}.

Youssef: {A-Hearts}{J-Hearts}
Seri: {K-Diamonds}{K-Spades}

The flop was spread {9-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{8-Clubs} to break the heart of Topakas as Seri's kings remained in front. The turn was the {2-Spades} and river the {J-Diamonds} to send Youssef sailing as Seri moves up to 11,000 chips.

Portaro Eliminated

Bruno Portaro has been amongst the early casualties in this tournament.

Moving all in preflop with {A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}, he was called down by the {K-Hearts}{K-Diamonds} of an unknown opponent. The board would bring nothing for Portaro and he was sent to the rail.

Karib Karib KO'ed

Karib Karib has been elimnated from this event at the hands of Tino Lechich. Karib got his money in the middle holding {A-Spades}{A-Hearts}; Lechich had {K-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}.

However with the board reading {Q-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{A-Spades}{10-Spades}, the set of aces for Karib was never going to be good enough against Lechich's rivered straight.

Tony G Takes One Down

The namesake of this tournament, Tony G, has eliminated an unknown opponent from this tournament.

With the flop reading {Q-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}, Tony G raised enough to put the opponent all in, who called and tabled {A-?}{Q-?} for top pair, top kicker, which was ahead of his {K-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}.

The turn bricked, but the river produced a diamond to give Tony G the flush and send the opponent to the rail.

Saab's Shout!

David Saab is up to his usual antics and seems to be thoroughly enjoying himself on his table, especially after his recent double up.

Saab had moved all in on the river on a board of {5-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{4-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} and found himself a caller. However his opponent mucked when Saab flipped pocket kings!

Saab clapped his hands in delight, yelling "woooooooooo!" as he then proceeded to shout his table another round of drinks!

Feature Table Having Fun

Even though this is a freezeout, the feature table is certainly playing it as if they have nothing to lose.

So far the table of death has had heaps of straddling, blind raises, and bizarre action. It won't be long till we lose some of those guys.

In a recent hand Matthew Kirk shoved all in for about 2,000 and found a call out of middle position.

Kirk tabled his {Q-Spades}{9-Diamonds} expecting to be in some trouble but found himself surprisingly good up against {8-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}.

The flop of {10-Spades}{2-Hearts}{2-Clubs} hit neither player, but the {8-Diamonds} spiked on the turn to leave Kirk facing elimination. The river {Q-Diamonds} arrived just in time to save him though and move him back up to starting stack.
