Villena Doubles Through Saechao

Level 28 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Paulo Villena
Paulo Villena

Kao Chieng Saechao raised under the gun to 300,000 and Paulo Villena decided to shove his last 700,000 from the cutoff. The rest of the players folded and Saechao didn't take long to call:

Paulo Villena: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{k-Spades}{3-Spades}
Kao Chieng Saechao: {9-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}

Villena had the best starting hand, and the flop first fell {j-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{10-Diamonds}, giving the straight to Saechao. However, a {5-Spades} and a {q-Spades} completed the board to improve Villena's hand into the flush to give him the double up.

Dustin Nelson raised to 160,000 and only Kao Chieng Saechao decided to call on the button.

Mamiya Doubles Through Nelson

Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Dustin Nelson potted to 400,000 from the hijack before Matt Mamiya pushed his entire stack forward from under the gun. He had too many chips to make an all-in raise, so 610,000 was returned to him and his bet total was 1,400,000.

Nelson called, then called again when Mamiya moved in on the {6-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} flop. Mamiya had {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} for a pair of aces, ahead of Nelson's {k-Clubs}{j-Spades}{10-Clubs}{9-Spades} for a pair of nines.

Mamiya sealed the pot when the {a-Clubs} fell on the turn. The river brought the {10-Diamonds} and Mamiya doubled up.

"He's back. Seattle's back," table nemesis Kao Chieng Saechao said.

Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Kao Chieng Saechao called for 80,000 and Nikolay Yosifov potted for 360,000. It folded to Dustin Nelson in the small blind who called and after some thinking, so did Saechao.

The flop {7-Clubs}{3-Spades}{9-Spades} was revealed and Nelson checked to Saechao who sent 425,000 in the middle. Yosifov let it go and Nelson considered it for a minute before folding as well.

Saechao Seeks Revenge on Mamiya

Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Kao Chieng Saechao announced pot to 360,000 from the hijack and Matt Mamiya called from the button. Paulo Villena also called from the big blind and the three players saw a flop of {5-Spades}{k-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}.

"How tilted are you?" Saechao asked Mamiya before betting 1,280,000. Mamiya quickly folded, but Villena took his time before also sending his cards into the muck.

Saechao showed {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} for a set of kings. "I may talk a lot, but I play good," he said as he collected the pot.
