WSOP Day 42: Dyer Leads Main With Cada Still In, Bohlman Goes for Double
Following a rare rainy day in Las Vegas, Scott Bohlman has the chance at another Vegas rarity �� winning two bracelets in one summer. He currently leads Event #69: $3,000 Pot-Limit Omaha 6-Handed with only 21 players remaining. Meanwhile over in Event #70: $3,000 Limit Hold'em 6-Handed, Benny Glaser bagged the chip lead after the first day of play.
Headlining the action today, of course, will be Day 6 of the $10,000 No-Limit Hold'em MAIN EVENT where Michael Dyer returns as chip leader and 2009 champion Joe Cada also remains in action as the only Main Event winner left among the final 109 players.
Event #65: $10,000 No-Limit Hold'em MAIN EVENT - World Championship
Players experienced some lights-out play on Day 5 �� literally. As storms rolled through the area, the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino lost power with about an hour left in the day. Soon the bags came out, and with 109 players left Michael Dyer was the one bagging the most chips. Dyer built a huge stack of 12,180,000 yesterday, putting some distance between himself and the chase pack at present.
Next in the counts is Brian Yoon (8,395,000), followed by Jeff Trudeau (8,305,000), Hari Bercovici (7,650,000), and Bart Lybaert (7,350,000).
Others still remaining include Barry Hutter (5,695,000), two-time bracelet winner Eric Froehlich (5,365,000), and high roller regular Ivan Luca (4,580,000). Kelly Minkin remains the lone woman left in the field with 1,205,000.
As noted, 2009 winner Joe Cada is also still in with 2,965,000.
Benjamin Pollak also remains in contention as he attempts to make two straight Main Event final tables. Last year's third-place finisher for $3.5 million, the Frenchman finished with 5,715,000 on Monday.

Event #68: The Little One for One Drop - $1,000 +111 No-Limit Hold'em
After three starting flights, Day 2 of the Little One for One Drop begins today. There were 2,517 entries on Day 1c, bring the total number of entries for the event to 4,732 to create a total prize pool of $2,265,300.
Just 549 players advanced after 10 levels of play yesterday to join the 446 players who survived Days 1a and 1b. Domyo Aqmelli (168,800) bagged the most on Day 1c, and indeed the most of all three starting flights.
Also doing well on Day 1c were Chang Yang Liu (158,000), Christopher Staats (157,800), and Ray Qartomy (145,800).
Other players making it through yesterday included Victor Ramdin (91,700), Jonathan Little (90,300), Georgios Karavokyris (66,100), [Removed:139] (63,300), Florian Duta (56,100), Toby Lewis (53,500), Upeshka De Silva (89,300), Justin Liberto (86,500), Gal Yifrach (52,900), Brandon Shack-Harris (65,500), Dutch Boyd (37,600), and David Pham (34,400).

Event #69: $3,000 Pot-Limit Omaha 6-Handed
With two days in the books, only 21 players remain in the $3K PLO 6-max with Scott Bohlman leading with 1,574,000. Bohlman is hoping to become the summer's first double-bracelet winner after winning the $2,500 Mixed Big Bet event.
Also with big stacks at present are Blake Whittington (1,500,000), Romain Lewis (1,054,000), Evangelos Kokkalis (1,209,000), and James Chen (832,000).
Others remaining include Christopher Frank (386,000), Phil Galfond (274,000), Tommy Le (290,000), Robert Salaburu (154,000), Matt Stout (439,000), and Brock Parker (136,000).

Event #70: $3,000 Limit Hold'em 6-Handed
After the first day in this event, the UK's Benny Glaser bagged the chip lead with a stack of 106,200.
The tournament attracted 221 runners with only 69 remaining. That total created a prize pool of $663,000 with a top prize of $154,338 going to the winner.
Just behind Glaser are Nicholas Seiken (101,900) and Anh Van Nguyen (96,700).
Other notables advancing to Day 2 include Ronnie Bardah (96,500), Rep Porter (90,700), Ben Yu (69,200), Barry Greenstein (51,700), Adam Owen (46,600), Koray Aldemir (33,400), Bryce Yockey (14,400), and Mike Matusow (11,900).

Event #71: $5,000 No-Limit Hold'em (30-minute levels)
More no-limit hold'em returns to the Rio today and with a $5,000 price tag, this should make for a nice prize pool. Players begin with 25,000 chips with levels lasting only 30 minutes. Late registration is open through the first 12 levels in this two-day event.
Chris Brammer took down this event last year for $527,555. Play gets underway at 11 a.m., and PokerNews will be on hand with all the live updates.
Event #72: $1,500 Mixed No-Limit Hold'em/Pot-Limit Omaha 8-Handed
Players must have a grasp of both of these popular forms of poker to compete in this event where the game will switch back and forth between NLHE and PLO every eight hands. They will begin with 7,500 chips with levels lasting 60 minutes and late registration available for eight levels.
Sebastian Langrock won this event in 2017 for $268,555. Stay with PokerNews for all the big hands once this one starts at 3 p.m.
