Viktor "Isildur1" Blom

After we published last weeks Online Railbird Report, another big game broke out between Viktor Isildur1 Blom and Alex IReadYrSoul Millar. Blom lost over $771,500 to Millar in that match, and not surprisingly he went on to become the weeks biggest loser.

The Swede ended up losing $1,366,606 in 12,031 hands over 210 sessions, which was more than twice as much as the next biggest loser Gus Hansen, who lost $666,808 in 4,212 hands over 53 sessions. Hansens loss put him down more than $4.3 million on the year, more than any other player.

Meanwhile, Millar, who was last weeks biggest winner, went on to finish as the weeks third-biggest winner with $451,496 in profit (4 sessions/556 hands). The only two players who performed better were Isaac luvtheWNBA Haxton and Phil OMGClayAiken Galfond. Haxton won $655,730 in 2,435 hands over 18 sessions, while Galfond banked $525,128 in 1,966 hands over 13 sessions. That erased Galfonds $485,580 loss from the week before, and pushed Haxtons two-week total up to nearly $1 million.

Bloms Slide Continues on Saturday

On Saturday, Sept. 7, Viktor Isildur1 Blom looked as if he might have a good day when he took $205,000 off Kyle KPR16 Ray in a two-hour early-morning battle at the fixed-limit Omaha Hi/Lo tables.

Later in the day, Blom sat down at the $400/$800 no-limit holdem tables and squared off against RookieNFL. Their match lasted 2.5 hours, and in the end RookieNFL walked away a $54,500 winner C thanks in no small part to winning the second biggest pot of the day.

In the hand, Blom ($121,170.94) opened for $2,400 and then called when RookieNFL ($120,085.50) three-bet to $7,200. Blom then called a bet of $8,820 on the 9?8?K? flop, the 8? appeared on the turn, and RookieNFL slowed down with a check. Blom took the opportunity to bet $21,600, RookieNFL called and the 5? completed the board on the river. RookieNFL checked for a second time and then called off for $82,465.50 after Blom moved all in. Blom tabled the A?8? for trip eights with an ace kicker, but it was no good as RookieNFL held the K?K? for a full house. The $240,171 pot as shipped over to RookieNFL.

From there, Blom sat down at a table with Sanlker and five minutes later was down $158,000! It was during those five minutes that the biggest pot of the day occurred. In that hand, Sanlker ($130,049) opened for $2,000 only to have Blom ($129,948.50) three-bet to $7,200. Not to be outdone, Sanlker four-bet to $18,200, Blom called and the flop came down J?10?8?. Blom checked, Sanlker bet $14,500 and Blom moved all in. Sanlker called and tabled the 9?7? for a flopped straight, which was ahead of Bloms 7?10?. The turn and river were run twice, but neither the Q?K? on the first run nor the 10?3? on the second changed a thing and Sanlker took down the entire $259,897 pot.

As if that wasnt bad enough, Blom and Sanlker met again later in the day, this time at the $500/$1,000 CAP NLHE tables. It was there that Sanlker continued his winning ways and took Blom for $239,300. Needless to say, Sanlker finished as the days biggest winner with $397,600 in profit.

Haxton Wins $309,500 in Sunday Action

Viktor Isildur1 Blom was back in action on Sunday, but things did not go well. He sat down with Isaac luvtheWNBA Haxton at the $500/$1,000 CAP NLHE tables, and two hours later, he was out $287,000. Of course there were plenty of pots capped at $60,000. Heres a look at three of them.

The Online Railbird Report: Blom Loses .3 Million; Haxton Week's Biggest Winner 101
Isaac luvtheWNBA Haxton

Hand #1: Haxton ($31,998.50) limped on the button only to have Blom ($57,999) raise to $3,000. Haxton responded with a three-bet to $30,500 to cap the pot and Blom called.

Haxton: 3?3?
Blom: Q?J?

It was a flip, and according to the PokerNews Odds Calculator, Blom was actually a slight favorite with a 51.61% chance of winning the hand, though Haxton would win 47.45% of the time. The 5?8?4? flop saw Haxtons chances jump to 70.09%, but Blom would hit either a jack or queen 28.28% of the time. The 10? turn gave Blom an added gutshot straight draw, but his chances of winning dropped slightly to 22.73%. Fortunately for Haxton, the 5? river failed to help his opponent and he took down the $60,000 pot.

Hand #2: Haxton ($118,485.50) opened for $2,000 from the button and was met by a three-bet to $6,000 from Blom ($30,000). Haxton capped it with a four-bet to $30,000 and Blom called with the Q?J?. Haxton then tabled the A?A? and held as the board ran out an uneventful 8?K?4?6?K?.

Hand #3:

Blom and Galfond Thrive in Tuesday Mixed-Game Action

After some horrendous days, Viktor Isildur1 Blom tasted victory on Tuesday to the tune of $329,200. His winning ways started at the $25/$50 pot-limit Omaha, but before long he was at the $1,000/$2,000 8-Game tables. It was there that he won $42,000 in an hour, and that prompted him to move up to the $1,500/$3,000 tables and take on punting-peddler and Patrik FinddaGrind Antonius for five and a half hours. Blom started with $20,000 and by the end quit with $400,000 in front of him.

The only player to do better than Blom on Tuesday was Phil OMGClayAiken Galfond, who won $364,600. Galfond took on Gus Hansen for four hour at the 2-7 Triple Draw tables and won $450,000 from the Great Dane. Hansen, who was up nearly $200,000 before the match, ended the day down $228,000.
