Viktor "Isildur1" Blom

What a year its been for Viktor Isildur1 Blom. Back in July he was up over $4.8 million on the year, but within months he had lost it all back. Now, Blom is back on top with more than $3.8 million in earnings after finishing as this weeks biggest winner with a remarkable $1,967,464 in profit, which came in 18,053 hands over 165 sessions.

Other winners included Alex IReadYrSoul Millar (+$687,313 in 9 sessions/667 hands), Denoking (+$661,769 in 24 sessions/5,089 hands), Isaac luvtheWNBA Haxton (+$377,208 in 36 sessions/1,441 hands) and Doug WCGRider Polk (+$199,554 in 30 sessions/5,395 hands).

Polk also managed to finish off Ben "Sauce1234" Sulsky in their $100,000 Challenge, which you can read more about here.

As far as the weeks losers are concerned, no one lost more than Sanlker, who dropped $781,373 in 5,413 hands over 59 sessions. Others who fared badly were Gus Hansen (-$615,350 in 21 sessions/2,919 hands), bbvisbadforme (-$436,426 in 10 sessions/1,319 hands) and SallyWoo (-$380,398 in 10 sessions/1,480 hands).

Tollerene Emerges as Saturdays Biggest Winner on PokerStars

Its rare for the days biggest winner not to come from Full Tilt Poker, but that was the case on Saturday, Oct. 19 when Ben Ben86 Tollerene banked $268,400 on PokerStars. The majority of that came at the $200/$400 no-limit holdem tables against Swedish pro wilhasha.

The duo played for three hours over three tables, and while things were fairly even over the first two hours, Tollerene hit a heater in the last one and ended up a $205,900 winner. It was in the last hour that the biggest pot of the match occurred.

It began when Tollerene ($167,883.20) opened for $800 and then called when wilhasha ($88,260.53) popped it to $3,000. The 3?J?2? flop saw wilhasha bet $3,500, Tollerene call, and the A? turned. Wilhasha ended up check-calling a bet of $6,499 and then checked the 6? river. Tollerene fired out $19,200, and then wilhasha sprung to life with an all-in check-raise to $75,261.53. Tollerene made the call with the Q?10? for a flush, and he was glad he did as wilhasha held an inferior flush with the J?9?. Ship the $176,519 pot to Tollerene.

Even though he won $168,655 for the week on PokerStars, Tollerene dropped $284,436 on Full Tilt Poker where he plays under the screen name Bttech86.

Blom Continues to Dominate 2-7; Wins $777,000 in Sunday Action

Viktor Isildur1 Blom has had an up-and-down year, but one place hes been consistently good is at the 2-7 triple draw tables. After winning $777,000 at the $2,000/$4,000 stakes on Sunday, the Swede brought his winnings in the game up to $4.5 million.

The game in question kicked off with samrostan, Gus Hansen, and Niklas ragen70 Heinecker, but before long Blom was in the mix. After three hours or so, samrostan left a $144,000 loser, and an hour later Heinecker joined him on the rail down $249,000. That left the two FTP Professionals to square off, and everything seemed to go Bloms way as Hansen ended up $380,000 in the red.

Sunday was also a good day for Denoking, who took Sanlker for $294,800 at the $200/$400 no-limit holdem tables. The two played for six hours, and there were plenty of six-figure pots. Heres a look at the top two.

Hand #1: Sanlker ($127,199.50) opened for $800 and then called when Denoking ($209,635) three-bet to $2,800, which brought about a 7?2?3? flop. Denoking led out for $3,920, Sanlker called, and the 6? turned. Denoking bet $16,800, Sanlker called, and the K? completed the board on the river. Denoking kept the pressure on with a bet of $68,500, but he couldnt shake Sanlker. Denoking tabled the 10?8? for a missed flush draw, which was no good as Sanlker rolled over the 10?7? for a pair of sevens and the $184,040 pot.

Hand #2:

Blom Puts in Monster Monday Session

On Monday, Oct. 21, Viktor Isildur1 Blom put in near 4,000 hands of poker across a variety of games. As usual, the Swedes ride was akin to a rollercoaster, but it ultimately came to an end with him down a modest $87,000.

Blom began the day by losing $190,000 to kagome kagome at the 2-7 triple draw tables, but followed that up by taking $322,000 from Ben Bttech86 Tollerene in one hour at the $500/$1,000 CAP pot-limit Omaha tables C though in all fairness Tollerene managed to win $85,000 of that back in the following hour of play. Blom then turned his attention to no limit holdem.

Isaac luvtheWNBA Haxton

In a heads-up match against Isaac luvtheWNBA Haxton at the $400/$800 tables, Haxton ($115,032) opened for $2,700 only to have Blom ($124,960) three-bet to $9,600. Not to be outdone, Haxton four-bet to $23,000 and then called off his remaining $91,882 after Blom moved all in.

Blom: A?A?
Haxton: A?K?

Both players had woken up with strong hands, but Bloms was by far the best. The board ran out 5?10?6?A?10? and Blom was pushed the hefty $230,064 pot.

Blom then took on Doug WCGRider Polk in the same game, but ended up losing $90,000. A little later on, Blom began to put together some wins at the fixed-limit Omaha hi/low (FLO8) and $500/$1,000 CAP NLHE tables, which put him up $549,000 on the day. Unfortunately for him, he didnt quit there.

Instead, he opted to multi-table $400/$800 against Alex IReadYrSoul Millar, who was just announced as a member of PokerStars Team Online alongside Marc-Andre Ladouceur. Blom proceeded to lose $500,000 in just 10 minutes due solely to three big hands. Here they are.

Hand #1: Blom ($120,550) opened for $2,400, Millar ($151,847.50) three-bet to $7,500, and the flop came down 2?6?10? after Blom called. Millar proceeded to check-call a bet of $8,000, the 2? turned, and then the Brit check-called a bet of $23,200. Millar checked for a third time when the 8? completed the board on the river, and Blom shoved all in for $81,850. Millar called with the K?Q? for a flush, which bested Bloms 2?4? trips. The $241,100 pot was shipped over to Millar.

Hand #2: Millar ($150,245) raised to $2,700 and called when Blom ($120,000) three-bet to $9,600, which brought about the A?5?2? flop. Blom led out for $12,800 and called when Millar raised to $28,800. Blom then checked theQ? turn but called off for $81,600 when Millar moved all in.

Millar: 4?3?
Blom: A?A?

Blom had flopped top set, but it was no good as Millar flopped a wheel. Blom needed to pair the board on the river, but it wasnt in the cards as the 3? blanked. With that, Millar took down the $240,000 pot.

Hand #3:

Blom Continues to Roll on Wednesday

Viktor Isildur1 Blom loves to play, and that was evidenced on Wednesday when he played approximately 7,000 hands of poker C winning $831,000 in the process. Most of that $468,000 to be exact came from the FLO8 tables against SallyWoo, Kyle cottonseed1 Hendon, and Kyle KPR16 Fray. SallyWoo ended up losing $200,000 to the Swede, while Hendon and Fray lost $181,000 and $89,600, respectively.

Blom then won $152,500 playing 570 hands of 2-7 triple draw before hitting the $500/$1,000 CAP NLHE tables, which is where he played over 6,000 hands. It took all day, but eventually Blom walked away from the game a $240,000 winner.
