Niklas ¡°ragen70¡± Heinecker

Without Viktor "Isildur1" Blom driving the action, it was a rather slow week on the virtual felt. Niklas "ragen70" Heinecker finished as the week's biggest winner with $411,736 in profit, which edged him ahead of Blom on the 2013 yearly leader board for online winnings.

However, the big story this week wasn't the winners, but rather the online poker's biggest loser C Full Tilt Poker Professional Gus Hansen. Two weeks ago the "Great Dane" lost $615,350, and he followed that up last week by dropping $1.3 million. As if things couldn't get worse, this week Hansen went ahead and lost $1,225,292 this week in 9,017 hands over 53 sessions.

Now down $7,586,867 in 2013, Hansen is certain to finish as the year's biggest loser. The big question is by how much? Hansen is now down approximately $14 million lifetime on Full Tilt Poker.

Heinecker Cleans Up at the 2-7 Triple Draw Tables

On Saturday, Nov. 2, Niklas "ragen70" Heinecker spent 16 hours at the $2,000/$4,000 2-7 triple draw tables and took on some of the game's bets including Viktor "Isildur1" Blom, Gus Hansen, Alex "PostFlopAction" Kostritsyn, and Patrik "FinddaGrind" Antonius.

Heinecker's day got off to a good start when he won $171,000 most of which came from Blom in two morning sessions. From there, he spent six hours relieving Hansen of $528,000 at a table titled "Upper." It was also there that Kostritsyn won $101,000.

As far as Blom was concerned, he switched to the $500/$1,000 CAP pot-limit Omaha tables and won $188,000 from Ben "Bttech86" Tollerene. Toss in a couple big wins at the $2,000/$4,000 fixed-limit Omaha hi/low tables and Blom finished the day a small winner with $79,000 in profit.

Gus Hansen

On Monday, Nov. 4, Gus Hansen and Kyle "KPR16" Ray played FLO8 for three and a half hours, and by the time the match came to an end Ray was a $411,000 winner. Hansen recouped $69,000 of that in a later match that lasted 26 minutes, and then made his way to the $2,000/$4,000 2-7 triple draw tables to take on Niklas "ragen70" Heinecker. Hansen pulled out to an early $200,000 lead, but the remained of the three-hour match saw the German get all that back and then some (Heinecker finished a $101,000 winner).

"Denoking" Tuesday's Biggest Winner with $217,700 Win

It only last 45 minutes, but an evening game of $300/$600 no limit hold'em against "bbvisbadforme" resulted in "Denoking" winning $217,700, which was more than enough to make him the day's biggest winner. The two battled over three tables and played two notable pots.

Hand #1: "bbvisbadforme" ($120,385.10) opened for $4,200 and then called when "Denoking" ($262,243.50) three-bet to $4,200, which brought about a flop of 7?10?2?. "Denoking" bet $5,880, "bbvisbadforme" called and the 8? turned. "Denoking" fired out another bet, this time $16,128, and again "bbvisbadforme" called. When the 5? completed the board on the river, "Denoking" bet $41,932.80 and then called when "bbvisbadforme" shoved for $94,177.10. "Bbvisbadforme" tabled the J?9? for a straight, but it was no good as "Denoking" had rivered a flush with the A?10?. Ship the $240,770 pot to "Denoking."

Hand #2:

Same Old Story on ThursdayHeinecker Wins and Hansen Loses

On Thursday, Nov. 7, Niklas "ragen70" Heinecker won $209,000 playing mainly $2,000/$4,000 2-7 triple draw against Gus Hansen and Alex "PostFlopAction" Kostritsyn. Heinecker took over a $100,000 from the Russian in a one-hour long morning session, and a short time later took $81,000 from Hansen.

The "Great Dane" proceeded to move to the $2,000/$4,000 FLO8 tables to take on "SallyWoo." The two played for 4.5 hours, and all Hansen did throughout was slowly but surely send $197,000 "SallyWoo's" way. The two ended up playing another match in which Hansen mitigated some of his losses. All told "SallyWoo" finished the day up $136,700.
