Phil Ivey

Just two weeks ago, Niki Jedlicka returned to Full Tilt Poker after an 18-month hiatus and he promptly won $1,075,177. This week, he was back at it when he won $677,487 in 4,224 hands over 57 sessions.

It was a good score, but it wasnt enough to make him the weeks biggest winner. That honor belonged to Trueteller, who won $712,418 in 2,693 hands over 22 sessions. Other big winners included Patrik FinddaGrind Antonius (+$614,207 in 57 sessions/4,224 hands), Kyle cottonseed1 Hendon (+$323,675 in 8 sessions/455 hands), and Phil OMGClayAiken Galfond (+$226,395 in 15 sessions/986 hands).

On the flip side, "samrostan," who was last weeks biggest winner after dropping over a million, found himself in a similar situation by losing $849,289 in 5,014 hands over 31 sessions. Other big losers included Alex PostflopAction Kostritsyn (-$665,832 in 66 sessions/4,671 hands) and Phil Polarizing Ivey (-$474,752 in 51 sessions/2,801 hands).

Antonius Kicks Things Off with a Win

The Online Railbird Report: "Trueteller," Jedlicka, & Antonius Win Big; Ivey Does Not 101
Patrik Antonius

On Thursday, April 10, Antonius was at the eight-game tables and managed to walk away a $226,700 winner. Nearly half of that $102,500 to be exact came from a morning session, which he followed up with some other little wins before banking another $94,400 that evening.

Another eight-game winner was Jedlicka, who finished $211,300 in the black, of which $190,600 came in a late-night session against players like Antonius, Viktor Isildur1 Blom and Kostritstyn. While the Russian lost in that match, he cleaned up at the $2,000/$4,000 2-7 triple draw tables and finished the day up $101,700.

Galfond and Tight-Man1 Do Well in Weekend Action; Ill-Timed Bluff by Ivey

On Saturday, April 12, Galfond walked away the days biggest winner after winning $251,400, of which more than $220,000 came from the high-stakes 2-7 triple draw tables.

Most of Galfonds profit ($155,100) came in the late afternoon in an 80-minute session against a full table that included Kagome Kagome, samrostan, and Daniel jungleman12 Cates, just to name a few.

Another player who did quite well on Saturday was Tight-Man1, who finished a $104,300 winner. More than half of that ($61,400) came in an early sessions of $300/$600 no-limit holdem, which is where he took down the days biggest pot against Ivey.

In it, Trueteller ($62,694) opened for $1,200 on the button only to have Ivey ($54,000) three-bet to $4,200 from the small blind. Tight-Man1 ($62,400) then four-bet to $10,100 from the big blind, Trueteller folded, and Ivey moved all in. Tight-Man1 made the call, and Ivey discovered it was an ill-timed bluff on his part.

Tight-Man1: K?K?
Ivey: J?3?

Ivey wouldnt get so much as a sweat as the board ran out 2?9?5?6?7?, and Tight-Man1 was pushed the $109,200 pot.

Trueteller Finishes as Weeks Biggest Winner Thanks to Single Match

On Sunday, April 13, German poker player Trueteller squared off in three big sessions against samrostan at the $2,000/$4,000 2-7 triple draw tables. It proved a fruitful day for Trueteller, who won each of them handily.

In the first, he played 338 hands over 100 minutes and walked away a $378,000 winner. A little later on, he won $223,000 at one table against samrostan and $125,000 at another. All told Trueteller, who lost a little playing pot-limit Omaha, took $696,500 from his opponent, who of course went on to finish as the weeks biggest loser.

Sunday also saw mixed games spread, which is where Elior Crazy Elior Sion took down the a juicy pot. Have a look:

Hac trex313 Dang actually walked away the biggest winner from the mixed games with $184,400 in profit, while Jedlicka was second with $105,800.

While the above pot was nice, it wasnt the biggest of the day. That pot actually took place over on PokerStars at the no-limit holdem tables. It was complimented by another six-figure pot. Heres a look at both of those hands:

Hand #1: In the biggest pot of the day, action was five handed at the $200/$400 table when play folded to Aron0621 ($72,671.21) on the button and he opened for $1,000. The small blind folded, and fish2013 ($116,735.62) three-bet to $3,600 from the big. Aron0621 pushed back with a four-bet to $10,400, and then just called when fish2013 five-bet to $20,800. When the flop came down 3?7?8?, fish2013 led out for $10,400 and then called when Aron0621 moved all in for $51,871.21.

Ike Haxton

Aron0621: J?J?
fish2013: A?A?

It was a bad spot for Aron0621 as he ran his big pocket pair into the best pocket pair, but he found salvation when the J? turn delivered him a set. The 2? river was safe, and Aron0621 was pushed the $145,500 pot.

Hand #2: muha84 ($61,519.98) raised to $800 from the button and PokerStars Team Onlines Ike Haxton ($74,654.55) defended from the big blind. Haxton then checked the 8?6?A? flop and muha84 bet $1,310.35. Haxton check-raised to $4,000, muha84 called, and the 8? appeared on the turn. Haxton led out for $4,897.50, muha84 called, and the 2? completed the board on the river.

Haxton bet $9,795 and then called when muha84 moved all in for $51,822.48. Haxton had flopped the flush with the 7?3? and called, but muha84 had flopped a set and turned quads with the 8?8?. Ship the $123,235 pot to muha84.

Jedlicka & Trueteller Win Again

On Monday, April 14, the eight-game tables were running again, and in just about two hours of play, Jedlicka walked away a $150,600 winner to put him up nearly $1.6 million in two weeks.

Likewise, Trueteller had another good day by winning $99,000 playing $400/$800 no-limit holdem, which included winning the days biggest pot.
